A thought - Dump suggested perhaps the option of selling your hero - at a loss before the autogo. In the case of All Random this may help bring some variety to a team that gets 3 CJs or TAs etc etc. just a thought.

New tile set  takes some time to adjust the eyes. Very jarring. Doodads seem out of place though. Once you're used to it it's a good change.

I don't think they're OP far from it. I just think the amount of them that are able to be produced makes them almost an essential merc to get just to null the other teams' hosts. As I said running into someone's base to kill them is exactly what you want. Get swarmhosts wait for someone to come attack. Trap them. Profit. They're not super strong or overpowered etc. I just think there's too many of them.

Take tanks for example. Super useful merc but you don't see an over abundance of them because at 375 they're a consideration. Whereas swarmhosts are just kind've a buy because you can.

It's not as hard as you say. Since they're burrowed it requires an opposing army/hero to come in to your base to get them - which is what everyone wants in the first place - and now you have an opportunity to trap that opposing army/hero. Nobody is going to leave their base if they can make money off of swarmhosts.

Also, the amount of money and XP given is negligible. Even getting grape heads to counter puts you in a deficit.

Tanks fair terribly. They're what the swarmhosts was designed to counter.

Swarmhosts at 250 are still really inexpensive. Even if you get a hero they can still dominate a game. Just played a game where each team had at least eight or so swarmhosts. The only reason being is because one team started getting them and the best way to counter them is to get them yourself. Considering how easy it is to make money early game - especially with an aoe hero they flooded the map quick.

Also, not sure if you intended this - mothership core reduces the cooldown on chronoboost. Which - while awesome - may be an unintended consequence of its already awesome awesomeness.

I'm a huge fan of the swarmhosts and the mothership core has already become an essential purchase for anyone going the tier route.

That being said, I think the swarmhosts are a bit inexpensive. They're, in this limited sampling, extremely easy to mass produce and extremely difficult to for players to counter mostly because there's no mobile detection beyond scans/farsight. Which is occasionally impractical. I think they're awesome, but for the price - they're too good.

Might want to look at Dehaka's summons too. They're tough as sin.

I'm speaking strictly about pub matches here. The day to days. This is essentially a game where comebacks don't happen. The skill ceiling is super low and there are severely limited options as to how to play. That's not to say the game is bad. It just is what it is.

So, early game is the most crucial point in the game. Winning and losing is essentially determined within the first ten minutes. Being put up against a premie with two pubs(often first timers) puts one at an extreme disadvantage that you are often unable to recover from. They feed, they don't speak English, whatever they're bad teammates to have around. I would like the option to remove them before they damage the game too severely.

As to the yada yada grow the game arguement. Basing at 15 or 5 won't make a difference to that. They'll still be turned on/off just the same.

I'm inclined to side with Incinerate, we've dealt with early speed since this game's inception. Personally, I've never had much of a problem dealing with it. Even if another premie team gets a surround on some noob it's easy enough to swing your army around to back door them. Even if you're going from 2 to 4. No real issues.

While I agree that grapeheads, out side of removing flava flav's ulti are pretty much worthless - I don't think an early ghost is necessary to counter the speed scroll. Consider how god damn slow some early games would be - especially all random where autogo has no affect - and folks just turtle up.

Which heroes get selected is probably determined by what their base unit is. Ie spike is a lurker base so might register as an actual army u it. Whereas Zeratul is a hero base any way you slice it.

Fatty is obviously the best hero in the game because he's the only hero that hard-counters every. other. hero. in. the. game. His aura wrecks shit on your spell damage. His heal is half decent, especially early game if it's your first spell. His stun is actually his worst spell and it's still the 3rd best stun in the game. Nydus dominates. Especially a good early game nydus, just after you've tiered. Speed into the base of someone who's heroing. Cast nydus. L-o-l all day.

Support scrolls that boost armour and healing scrolls. Both would be sick game changers.

Scrolls are essential. I'd like to see more scrolls in the game to be honest. Defense scrolls, healing scrolls etc.  They're always a constant threat to literally change the game with the click of a button. A solidly tiered army can still go toe-to-toe with a speed/damage lower tier. You just have to have the right hero for the job. But then imagine if there were defense scrolls too? How sick a matchup that would be!
