I actually agree. liberator spam is not a big issue. Just with a hard limit of 3 it is fine. Plenty of hero and focus can take out a lib fast and easy. And they do not scale well in later parts of the game since they only target one unit at a time and ttk per unit is a couple of seconds. So yeah. Hard limit of 3 only is fine.

Also Tychus's passive reborn ability should not be able to be silenced or cancelled. There are certain abilities like alaraks silence that 100% kill tychus. Should be unaffected by everthing, even artifact if it triggers.


I would also give it  5% boost in activation rate just for lulz and because it's not that good. You could easily just by TP every attack.

They were talkign about fixing blade. So changing would help here. Sylvanis sux but she could suck or be op in a flip. I've come from behind with sylvanis, she's pretty op with only a couple items. She's a hero hero/support hero blend. Even if shes behind she still has silence and steal. I'd give another life drain ability that doesnt suck, energy drain would be better and have it be simultaneous or something. Or give her an energy up ability like golem.

There are really only 2 times I feed:

1- I get energy drain focus by a team. I'll feed the next best team to the person who is doing that.
2- Ian/Moma/other gay premades are just feeding on noobs all game. I'll feed the next best team if I am with noobs or am on the noob team to balance the game.
3- There is no action and nobody is doing anything. In this case I'll send my foots to the weakest team in order to start action, that's not technically feeding because I make back more usually

So stop being triggered.

The actual counter to pro teams is make another pro team.

The problem is that many zf regulars are awful teammates, or just really unlikable people.

Playing on Moma or Ian's team and playing on Handsome lb2a's team couldn't be a more diametrically opposed experience. Moma is positive, always tries his hardest, and inspires his teammates to play better by leading by example.

Handsome is constantly angrily typing at his teammates, pinging things all over the place in a really unhelpful way, and when things go south he'll be blaming everyone in the world but himself.

Playing with Moma made me a better player during times I don't play with him. Playing with angry, bitter and sad people makes me want to spend my time doing something else.

So many people looking for solo virtuoso glory in a team game.

Even with the depleting numbers of players, there's plenty of people still around to team up with. If they were willing to team up.

It's crazy to me how dependent your experience is dependent on other people. That's the biggest difference here.

At this point Sc2 probably costs a lot to subsidize with the tournaments, and if they decide to remove support before the last of the fans naturally move on they will get a ton of negative press that will hurt them in the future That is my gues.

Pride and strangelove literally need an excuse for every game they lose. We get it you two are some of the best but you can’t win them all.

I'll look into him and see what's up, I have a patch with some changes coming out soon, will figure out some for nitro

Another change is swarmhosts need to double their kill value. It takes 2 grapeheads to kill a pack a swarmlings. Thatt means you break even when you kill 4 swarmhosts. The whole thing takes a  lot of time to do at 0 expense to the swarmshost owner. Swarmosts need to lose autocast (like the current LoV model changed from the HotS version for the same reason. 0 apm for great return). So if you use APM to counter swarmhosts you should get something out of it instead of nothing. grape heads do not counter them because of the apm gap and llow return. If focused it should be a win for the guy countering but right not  its not. Even if you get some minerals there is massive opportunity cost. While you deal with a 0 apm unit the enemy is feeding on nooobs elsewhere. If you ignore them they wreck your noob allies. And mercs are not a cost efficient counter to swarmhosts. you invest 1000 minerals to counter them, they just aim for the other team... u just wasted 1000 minerals. . Swarmhost pay for themselves even if they make 0 minerals.  It should be a single grapehead to kill them because they are low-yielding OR their bounty should be at least doubled. Refer to this game. Inn this game I was fairing alright but then with all the swarmhosts because im the only nonnooob on the team I cant play anytmore because of it all
 They have the hp of a zergling with more dps and theyre 10 moinerals return only. So whats the counter to swarmhosts? Only swarmhosts. So the people going swarmhosts get extra feed for nothing  because they're oth feeding offf each other. It's a dumb mechanic. In the first file ("dealing with them is a waste of time")this is to show how dealing withswarmhosts is a waste of times. knock out a player for 0- apm, watch player 4. The others just show the swarmhost meta that tryhards use to win to overcome the gaps i

PLEAS PLEASE PLEASE get rid of nitro teleport. 99% of picked game end up like the attached replay. The team that wins is the one that goes nitro or 2x nitro . The only time they dont win is when they are FAR OUTSKILLED by top tier players. Please nerf nitro. Watch t4. They literally do nothing all game and win. Don't even need to go hero. Just constant harass and nobody can fight because they will always outfeed armies and all other heroes combiend. It needs to lose teleportation. That is a 4200 item for free.....

Now that we seem to have the map creators time\attention I would like to throw out a list of top repicked heros (as they will very from person to person) and at the end of each 1 or more suggestions on what that person thinks can be fixed.

so for me:

1. Monta (unless tons of noobs) Grape heads just wreck him unless you have allies that know to wall up to protect war pigs from grapes early. Also nuke is usless in none noob games. (suggestion war pigs have more health but less damage)

2. Flav. His ulty sucks too easy to kill ur own, allies, or enemies hero by getting last hit while spawns give hero a hand job. Suggest making them click target so they auto stun\attack a selected hero without the owner needing to micro (can still be microed for emp ect manually)
Once the hero is dead...or whatever they follow rorys lazer mechanics and auto attack unless manually selected. This would allow the owner to micro his\hero army easier to protect the kill per say.

3. Drak (lizard dude). Lets be honest no one who  gets this guy is like "fuck ya!." Suggestion increase his energy reg, make his heal better. Either increase the area it hits, or give it a base heal to start followed by a HOT. I would propose his ulty have less area of effect but attack faster.

4. Karass unless in noob games this hero although can do ok is really under powered. Suggest his storms either apply a slow to the AOE (Pride's suggestion) or something along those lines. I suggest his ulty be changed to basically be like a mother core OR have it do something with his fuzzball spawns.
Either drops alot of them instantly or have them make all the current fuzz balls he has out go full retard. Another thing not sure if this has been done or not but fix his graphic so when he is invised he doesnt leave that trail of ...himself.

5.Spike although good at start just blows donkey dick mid\late game unless against tier 0 or 1. His ulty blows donkey dick. Their auto burrow was a great step in the right direction but their damage is just too pathetic. Basically anything tier 3 (even with no ups) against even level 3 ulty
just laughs at the damage. Other night I sat a 0\0\0 Arcon in the middle of a level 3 spike ulty and it took almost 3\4ths the cd to kill it.  Advise upgrading damage.

6. Sylvannas. I know her silence and her ulty are good but her summoning arrow is only good against noobs....and when u have noobs plus that it is too broken. Against vets all that arrow does is feed. Her life stealing ability is utterly usless. Would advise taking away her unit stealing ulty and replace it with
a huge buff that effects her spawn (within a certain range of hero) to force her to accompany them. Replace her life stealing beam with a skill that would summon units on a decent timer (like 1 or 2 units that get stronger with lvls). Change her current ...arrow thingy that summons to have a aoe that acts like a reverse darkmus ability
so intead of ur units dying causing an indistructable spawn it would trigger off of enemy units dying. Dont make these op but with the help of hero new ulty giving them a buff they could be viable. Could combo well with ulty cepter, or like Cains ulty ect. Have said aura have to be clicked
on and drain mana significantly same with hero ulty.

These are just some off the top of my head feel free to add or throw other suggestions in.

1. Vets actually use monta, popular choice in noobs and plenty keep monta
2. Sure y npot. I think flav need a mana rate buff. Strong hero in the right hands though. His ult is so easy. Jusut stay in base and pick off mercs. best to fuck over try hard merc players/. if you cant micro everything together thats kinda on you.

4. I think fish hero is great, slow storm would be op. Why not just have him launchnuykes at that point? he is a mass attackc rape hero. If no masses are happening he is a zoning hero. I find him fun but I control armies a lot. A potential buff would be removing his channeling weakness. Make it so he can move around but if he mo ves our of range he cancels the spell.
5. Sure. I would not be opposed to adding armor or health to him. His purpose is to give your team an early lead. But its up to them or you to keep it. If he gets much stronger itll be firebat all over again. Thats why I say leave it. (and fuck firebat nerf it more)
6. I would replace C. Mass charm is a great ability on her. It lets u have an army while going hero

I personally don't think there is anything I can do about the stalemates that doesn't seriously hamper with the game to much .

Footmen frenzy was the map I based this map on but with alot of my own ideas in order solve it .  Footmen frenzy on war 3 had the same stalemate issue where it's hard to attack becuz If u do attack u might get flanked and that promotes turtling .

So stuff I brought in to combat that was the mothership core so u can teleport away ur army in order to be more offensive and invisible scrolls so ur army can attack undetected... Removal of blur to make it more offensive .     

Other stuff I did to was introduce the void seeker which is amass transport unit of which war3 footies didn't have as well . I believe a combination of those 3 should be good enough .. but it takes heavy investment .. I am looking for something small scale too .. like perhaps upgrade to the mother ship core?   Maybe +1000 more life and 6% faster spawns for 800 gold ... With more life it be more offensive and create more army ..   but it depends if ppl would actually turtle less .  Maybe

Nobody is sniping motherships as it is. It doesn't need an hp buff. But a unit buff would be interesting.

i put out a patch last night, planning to do another tonight just for alarak

-Removed the ability to cast any ability from invisibility ... This applies to every ability in the game.   ( hence no more cloaked  carne echo slam or any other hero abuse)

-replaced farseer area of effect with a slightly perhaps better one.. but i dont want it to strong cause farseer is a strong hero late game

-nerfed nitro passive damage a little

-fixed some revive animation issues

-added animation to ankh of reincarnation

Better suggestion for blade is make Windwalk ability Pause cool down while in windwalk. The reason he is strong is because you can windwalk, wait for cool down to finish, initiate attack and instantly windwalk and attack again for a 2 hit instant kill.

Good idea, or if this is to nerfy then make it so the overlap of double windwalk is like a very short window., say 10 seconds.

didnt touch anything to do with mana and im looking into a fix for chain lightning, not sure why chain lightning is bugged .. me didnt touch it either.   but i know forsure energy aura at the middle is the same as always .. chain lighting is fucked but i cant see why cause nothing was changed yet all of a sudden it stop working.

It seemed like the aura went down but I guess that's just worse ally trend lately.

Suggestion, can you make claws of attack 2x stackable max? Blade is a bit ridiculous and you just have to spam cheap attack items and have the chillest game ever ragequitting everyone.

I dont do much of it anymore, I used to alot when I was in my 20s. I have 14 fights under my belt with a record of 12-2.

How old are you? The reason I ask is just purely to dole out advice on weather it is worth it lol. If you are just wanting to start and you are like mid to late 20s probably too late unless you just want to do it for fun and not compete.

Of course right now most places are shut down....dont want to be face to face with people sweating in eachothers mouths lol.

well, even if Incinerate was still around, he doesn't play the game to know how to balance the game, Artanis is shit early game vs any aoe hero that pulls back units and only engages when their ability is up.
If you were talking about removing blade I would agree, but you need to be at least level 11 or in a noob lobby to do anything with artanis's ultimate, and if your on the team that has no aoe you may not even get to level 6 early (unless you spam mercs)

You're not wrong. But people aren't playing well to do well with artanis. They're just using their premade fag teams to pretty much auto0win in late game. If you balance with the current noob vs premade environment in mind artanis is very toxic. If there were a random team element your point would be more valid. If there was a hero balancing elemtn to random teams they could match top heroes with weak heroes. Without any of tat he is a toxic hero.

He is either auto0win or auto lose completely depending on team.

In the rare games were picked hero is chosen can you make it incini so that boots (if random hero is selected) give 100 minerals for selling? Give vets some incentive to still choose random. I realize it isnt nearly as...optimal winning wise as choosing the most OP hero you can but may tilt the scales?

I would just make random items twice as strong.

I think the easiest solution to playing against Moma or Ian is finding your own partner. For example, you and I have around the same skill as them, but we are not a compatible duo. You rage and make the same stupid mistakes as I do. You need to find your own Ian to your Moma.

Concerning StrangeLove's comment, he has a point to an extent. However, some heroes cannot be debuffed anymore than they already have without changing the whole game I think. Like Cairne, his ultimate when he first started was more OP and went off sooner than it does now. For example, if you add more delay to it then you will never be able to get his ultimate off due to the wait. At the end of the day we all know heroes and your team will win the game. The only solution would be to vote on banned heroes in a match or to constantly vote "picked" so you have no excuse of getting a shitty hero. If you go pick then then consequently you'll need to buff Cattle so he be a stronger hero killer. Overall, your team will decide if you win or not. So it is time to start teaming up, unless lobby is full of noobs then don't.

This game is so fucking broken.

The recent patches only made the glaring problems worse. You balanced the most random shit (void seeker, stim nerf, sprock change, etc) when you left the most glaring and obvious problems right out there in the open.

The current hero state is beyond fucked and needs some serious tuning.

With the recent patches and the lack of competitive games, I see this causing the game to finally die out.

The game is dying because of those 2 faggots ruining every lobby. Nobody wants to play anymore.

I don't think you read my comment very well if that was your takeaway :P you said to limit the health upgrades to the 400 mineral upgrade, its not skipping if you can't get it until tier 3... you wouldn't be able to ultimate scepter more because if you jump straight to tier 3 you only need the 800 mineral health upgrade to have 900 health which saves you 1300 minerals, which is only a 700 mineral difference... hydras aren't slow af? wtf? ask Pride if he thinks hydras are more noob friendly, he stomps people with hydras all the time. see but what you don't realize is there wont be any time for other teams to catch up, as I've stated before the difference in getting tier 3 to 900 health only costs you 700 more minerals than tier 2, not only that but hydras have more base attack than tier 2 so you wouldn't be losing out much on not going 3 attack...

I see what you mean. But if you spend the extra 700 for L3, thats about 2 upgradesw worth . And if you choose to do that you no longer have marauders. Also, if you have a big ball of marauders they are still under 850 hp. You aren't taking that into account. A splash hero and reg sceptor will wreck you, especially if a couple of vets on the map want to balance the lead.

I agree with prides general points. I disagree with storm slow though. That would be kinda boring. I think it would be fun if aura also gave him a speed boost. The CD on storm is so fast, he can run around blasting, breaking up fights. That would be so fun!

Hellions aren't that weak IMO. They are a pinning unit. If you pin you rape. You can't a-move, hard I know. That said a toggle ability like pride said would give it another function, but only aginst untis with smaller range.. roaches archons. You don't want to kite things with longer range. That is a losing battle.

That was my initial thought as well Tragic but honestly I thought about it more and what Handsome is proposing really doesn't change anything, if you can only get 2 health upgrades the 2100 minerals you save on not getting the 3rd/4th health upgrades shoots you straight into tier 3, and honestly why even get any upgrades on tier 2 if you don't need to at that point, so games will just be a rush to tier 3 instead of rush tier 2 which I guess is his desired outcome?? but at the same time people will still use the best/easiest race so we trade rauders for hydras, but honestly why do all that work for such little change when heros are the bigger problem, if you go into the reviews most of the complaints are either
A.) Imbalanced heros
B.) Not Noob Friendly
and honestly don't take my word for it look for yourselves, but when a lot of the bad reviews are about imbalanced heros ( and we all know its true ) why would you even propose game changes like this when its not really gonna do anything in terms of how people play the game

Heros are going to run away with the game if you limit ups on tier 2. Any heros that use items will be literally untouchable if you limit the ups to those.

I've never had issues with heroes. They're only a problem because they parasite off of allies with units. If you nerf units, you nerf heroes. I've never had problems with a hero when their team was not already way in the lead. This will flatten the lead.

You can always base a hero no problem, without teammates. You can sceptor their armies and base the hero. This a bad reason to not do this change.

I personally don't understand your hate for metas? people will always gravitate towards the best things and honestly this is something that I See as something very low (if on it at all) that needs to be fixed (not gonna say anything about mercs)
for example if you were to limit upgrades for tier 2 to 3/3/3 (sometimes I look at my upgrades and realize I've upgraded attack 5 times when I think I've only done 2) why would you not go with zerg so you can have the best Tier 3/4/5 units?
Heros imo are the most important thing that needs to be worked on (even though mercs are fucking op but I've beaten that dead horse long enough)
the way to soften the blow of what hero you get would be to weaken every level 1 ability so that your not instantly fucked and or dominating due to which hero you have. I realize that's a tall order and probably wont happen but its something that I thought of and wanted to toss it in the brainstorm

So here is what the 3/3 limit will do. After achieving 3/3 there is a 2000 mineral window (cost to tier 3) where the balance of the game can shift. When let's say you and Ian and moma reach 3 3, the game has 2000 minerals of your feed in time for other players and teams to achieve their own tier 2, reach their own 3 3, or save for an ulti sceptor or splash heroes with regular sceptors to reset hte unit balls. Right now the winning team upgrades their t2 units and it is almost impossible to catch up because the lead just increases exponentially. Speed boost spam is the second component to this. Once you have the upgrade advantage the army ball gets out of hand. At which point a very fast ball and deadly army will be untouched by most noobs, EVEN FURTHER making it impossible to change the lead in game.

Maybe even make the upgrades 3/3/2, then if you're way too hot on the map, multiple ulti sceptors will be coming your way to put you back in line.

This will vastly improve the meta into the retarded display of faggotry. The amount of hate these suggestions receive from self-admitted faggots will add to my point:

Double the cost of speed boost item- if you use this and get 3 kills it makes up for itself. how retarded is that? The reason is that there are certain players who like to pretend they're pro by only moving out with a speed boosted army. Real pros like me don't care. It's just speed. But most people who are noobs stay away, so it becomes a massive ball that snowballs bigger with bigger upgrades becasue they keep killing retreating armies. This speed ball meta has to be fixed. It's dumb as hell.

Reduce marauder stim speed effect by 75%. No don't reduce health, don't reduce armor, don't reduce dps. SPEED is the issue. Are you fags going to keep pretending that marauders are not out of line when 90% of pros go marauders every game?I don't want to hear it strangelove, until you play you don't understand the meta.

Implement tier limits on upgrades. Currently every good player is going t0>t1>t2>~77-1300 upgrades>t4. This is a cancerous part of going unit. It's dumb AF. There is 0% reason to do tier 3 in 99% of cases. Because of this the game is 90% of the time teir2 battles. It used to be worth tiering up but now it's an auto-loss against the fag-ball play I described in the speedboost cost increase thing I said. Solution is to limit tier 2 upgrades to 333. The rest should unlock all since T4 can take on all tier 3 and below. This will force you to play the game and will disable the ability to mass a giant ball to base someone who is way ahead of you which fake-pros do all the time.

Artanis- disable blink dagger use. Hero fixed, not that hard

Alarak- ult only affects in front of him (even 1 range in front of hiim). Incinerate you may not know this but if I alarak into an army and use ult into mine and allies 3 armies that is a dead army for free. Alarak is more autowin than artanis for people that know what they're doing. Morons will disagree but that's just how it is. Alarak always wins.
